A New Variety of Plant

As you push through the forests of this alien world, you spy a peculiar plant. The shape of the petals were like a rose, the size was akin to a corpse flower, but it's coloration was akin to a 1970s themed costume party.

But as you step closer, the flower turns in your direction suddenly and spits at you. You are suddenly covered in a green fluid that makes your skin tingle. Fortunately, it actually seems to act as a natural exfoliant. Which is doubly helpful as your clothes begin to dissolve and melt off your body.

You quickly cover yourself, despite nobody else being present. Thankfully none of your equipment dissolved, leaving you still with blaster belt, command bracelet, and interface visor.
