Chapter 9 by Snailsnail Snailsnail

How does tomorrow go?

A Morning Meeting

Naruto yawned. His arms extended upwards, and he released his slumbering exertion out through a prolonged stretch. The night gifted him with an incredible sleep, as it should've since with a single sentence reading, ''Naruto will have a good night's sleep.'' And he expectedly had a well-rounded night of rest.

It's awesome!

His focus sprang straight towards his prized artifact, or artifacts. Both the book and pendant rested safely on his nightstand, just waiting to be used and abused by his hasty fingers...

If it weren't for the reality-altering jutsu, there's no possible way he'd have fallen asleep last night. All the pranks he could pull, the many ways he could act out some more outlandish scenarios. Hell, having a perverted mentor definitely does lead to less honorable results...

Speaking of his mentor... Pervy Sage had this! For how long? What did he do with it!? How did he find the thing? Or had it been formed by his own hands. Tsunade has been known to craft some of her own artifacts, mostly healing-based relics she imbues with her secretive jutsus; it could be possible his mentor had some time on his hands and went to tinkering. That was just one of the many thoughts that had been running on the loose in Naruto's head.

All-in-all, he didn't care too much; sure, it was an interesting thought. Had Jiraiya used it for perverted purposes? If so Tsunade probably left a sizable fist-shaped imprint in the side of his face, seeing that without her relic, it was absolutely useless.

He should give both of them a thank you letter in the mail because these gifts managed to change his life during the course of just one day.

That being said, Naruto spent the first thirty minutes of his morning simply wondering what to do. Sakura, Tenten, and Ino had enough. At least, for the time being. After a nice night, he felt less vindictive towards the people who had done him wrong in the past. Maybe he had been exaggerating things just a bit.

Having women want him to sign their panties...

Making it that chicks masturbate every day to the fantasy of him fucking them...

Maybe it wasn't warranted...

Naruto took himself to the front door of his apartment and opened it. He breathed in a large breath of the fresh air of his apartment building as he took a step forward...

And instantly slipped.

Gravity did its thing; no more than two seconds later, Naruto was on his ass while rubbing the back of his head from the impact after such a sudden fall. Just then, a piece of paper that had been on the floor floated gently onto the top of his blonde head.

''Naruto. Come to the Hokage office a quarter after dawn. Don't be late, or else.''

He frowned as he held the sheet of paper. His head tilted, and he reread the writing on its page.

Or else?

Or else...

Was that a threat? Someone was threatening him? Right after he had, what could be the most powerful combinations of relics to ever exist?

Wow.. They didn't have to be so rude. Well, he can make sure whoever wrote this would have an ''interesting'' morning. It seems only fair for how rudely worded the note was. There was not a single 'please' or 'thank you' anywhere to be found.

Also, what reason would he be needed at the office? Okay, well, now that he gave it some thought, there could be a number of reasons, with only a few of them being pleasant. Naruto's first instinct brought him back to his notebook. He glanced at the pendant around his neck and opened the book, fully prepared to write his way out of this situation.

But a thought caused him to slow down.

Tsunade... She created the pendant. Which was the energy source for his book. Would the jutsu work on her? It was a toss-up. If she designed the pendent and was responsible for it even existing in her private vault. There's a very high chance she had measures to resist its effect. Maybe a Pendant of Weakness or an Anti Pendant of Power. Something that drains chakra instead of serving as an amplifier.

Why give away a powerful artifact that she can't even resist? It didn't even make sense. Did she trust Sakura that much? Besides, if he could scrabble up the idea to combine the pendants boosting power with the book's lame reality-altering ability. She would instantly put two and two together, given a chance to think about it. It was blatant as day; she literally handed him the reality book. He recalls that moment to the dot. From her grasp to his, she gave him the book, looked him in the eye, and called Jiraiya an idiot while also giving Sakura a relic that can power-up weak chakras. Then she let them both walk away. So, the prospect of him stealing the pendant while out of sight and using it to make the book actually control reality itself wouldn't be too farfetched. She even knows that he has a tendency to pull pranks and the like.

Yeah, using the book on her would definitely be a gamble, the kind Tsunade would blindly accept. But he wasn't so excited to take the risk. It was one key reason why he intended to leave her alone. An unaware Hokage was a good Hokage.

So what should he do?

No need to leave on a cliffhanger.

Naruto left the book behind. In fact, he didn't change anything. And even still, his heart was pounding as he entered the Hokage tower; it didn't stop. Even as he stood before the doors to the office, there was still a nervous drop of sweat resting atop his forehead. He wiped it aside and cautiously knocked on the door.

He couldn't risk changing a single once of reality. If Tsunade discovered what he's done, she'd punish him relentlessly. Except, it wouldn't be relentless; she'd cease eventually, as she has always done when his pranks fall apart. It wasn't the resulting punishment that he feared, but the chance that she'd put an end to his fun just one day after it began.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Enter."

As the doors to her office opened, Tsunade glanced her golden eyes upwards. They blinked almost instantly in a sign of familiarity, and quickly after, she frowned and furrowed her brow.

"You are an hour late."

"Yeah.. Hahaha." Naruto scratched the back of his head as he entered the room. He tried to ignore the way her large breasts pushed onto her desk, to the point where it almost appeared as though they were resting their weight on its wooden surface, and instead closed his eyes as he chuckled. "I had a busy night."

"Uh-Huh." Tsunade said slowly. Her hands were busy writing on a sheet of paper. The action reminded him of his script and made him wish he had chosen to use it to assist him in this situation. But no, he's not sure she'd be affected; the risk to find out wouldn't be worth it... Right?

She let out a sigh and licked her lips. After a blink, she pushed aside the paper to join the rest of the clutter and clasped her hands together in front of her chest. An action that served to squish together her tits subtly and enhance the show of cleavage through the open neckline of her gray top.

"What were you doing last night?"

Naruto looked around the room awkwardly. "Uh.. Sleeping? Actually had a really nice sleep!"

"Sure. Then why did you wake up late?" She raised an eyebrow. "If you slept so well. I mean."

"I don't know. Come on granny, what's up with this questio- Yahhckk!" A pen sored through the air and whizzed by his face where it lodged itself into the wall. Naruto gulped upon noticing what looked to be a slight vain pulsing over her right eye, an eye that had twitched angrily more than a few times in the last second.

"DON'T call me that brat." She grumbled. "I have a long day ahead of me, and I'm not about to have it ruined by you."

Naruto blinked. "You're the one that brought me here!! Why are you upset!?" When he noticed the glare she was sending his way, he lowered the tone of his voice and took a hesitant step back. "I mean... What did you summon me for?"

"What do you mean? I made myself clear, did I not? You can read, right? I said to bring you, AND the relic that we gifted you."

"Uppmm." Naruto could feel his heart skip a beat.

Tsunade leaned back in her chair. She took a deep breath; her cleavage expanded and lowered from her intake of air as she crossed her arms, somewhat pushing up her tit. "I don't see the relic on you."

Naruto stayed silent.

"You know, if anyone else receives an order from the Hokage, they are pressured to follow through with it. Have I not been strict enough?"

Tsunade wanted the book. The last thing Naruto desired to give her, she made the mistake of handing the relic over to him, as if he'd do the same thing by handing it back. But she had a point, did he really have a choice in the matter? She's in the position where what she says goes; if she gives a direct order for him to return something to her, he has **** but to comply as a person under the Hokage. Unless.. Unless he could use the book on her, but then again, what if it didn't work?

"I'll take that as a yes." She sighed. "Alright then.."

Naruto shook his head and sputtered. "Nnn. No nonnn No! Ummm, I.. I didn't know you wanted it!"

"Didn't know? I told you. I made myself VERY clear."

"No, the message didn't say anything about bringing the book."

Tsunade cocked her head. "Oh really? I told Sakura to copy my words to the letter."

Naruto's face slackened. Well, that made sense. A bucket-load of sense... Sakura, the annoying bitch... And he chose to leave her alone. This is the thanks he gets? She purposely leaves a message from Tsunade vague just to lower the Hokage's opinion of him even more.

"I swear! That was not written down."

Tsunade didn't reply and instead stared into his eyes for a few seconds as if she were looking into his soul in search of the truth. "Do you have the letter?"

"N.. No..." Naruto patted the sides of his pants to no avail; he knew for a fact it wasn't on him.

"Then I have no reason to believe you. Sorry brat, I trust the word of my student more than I can yours." She shrugged. "It's not even Sakura's fault. You are just too irresponsible. That's the main reason you're here. She told me you were harassing her since the second you were out of my line of sight yesterday, and that does not even address the absurdly inappropriate things she claims you wrote in that book. And I am VERY disappointed in you, but.. Not surprised by any means."

Naruto opened his mouth.

"I am still speaking!" Tsunade shot up her index finger. "I trusted you enough to allow you to receive that gift. Initially, I told Jiraiya you weren't ready, but for some stupid reason, I relented and allowed it to take place. Now I had no way of knowing the man would actually go through with giving you that useless book... But even if you received nothing helpful from him, you were still chosen to be in that room, which should have warranted some form of growth. But I supposed not."

"Did Sakura even show you proof?" Naruto blurted. "She just said I did something and you believed her!?"

Tsunade's voice barked back with even more ****. "Yes! Because she is ten times more responsible than you will ever be, brat!"

With fists clenched, Naruto said. "So what? You wanted me to bring the book so you could confiscate it?"

"I intended to see for myself if what Sakura said was true. But after giving it more thought and seeing how you blatantly refused to bring it despite the letter clearly saying I wanted both you AND the relic. I have reason to believe you are trying to hide something."

"Sakura. Lied. On the let-"

"I don't want to hear it. For once, own up to your faults. Is that too much to ask?" Tsunade leaned forward with her arms crossed; her breasts were pushed up and mashing against the edge of her desk. "Apparently, you need to learn humility and responsibility. As to that, you are going to be spending a week doing community service." She looked at him and aggressively furrowed her eyebrow. Her voice raised. "It is only for a week. Do not start complaining! It won't accomplish anything."

Community service? For something, he didn't do. Okay, maybe he did harass her a bit, but Tsunade had absolutely no proof to speak of. Did Sakura have everyone wrapped around her fingers? She's a bitch; the Bitch Buster joke became more and more appropriate with every passing second.

"Now, return to your apartment and bring me the relic."

"But-" Naruto began.

"NOW BRAT!" Tsunade's fist slammed onto the side of her desk, spilling its contents aside as the wood cracked beneath her clenched hand. After a few seconds, she sighed and took a few calming breaths; her back leaned against her chair, and her tits expanded and fell. "That was a gift..." She groaned softly and let her hands rise up to pinch the bridge of her nose. "Useless or not. I won't be having you jotting down your perverted urges in that relic while inside the walls of this village. There's one pervert I have to deal with constantly, and two is a crowd."

"So you're going to confiscate the gift Jiraiya gave me?" Naruto could feel his teeth grind as he spoke. "It's not even yours to take back."

"It's not? Really?! I had no idea!" The Hokage appeared to mock him by jumping her head up in surprise. Her blond locks bobbed around her face along with her cleavage, which jiggled from her sudden movement. Then almost as quickly, her voice dived flat. "I gave him the permission to gift you that relic. And now I'm retracting that decision. If you have a problem with that, you can talk to me."

"Okay," Naruto said. "I have a problem with that."

"Too bad."

"Basically I have ****?"

Tsunade nodded. "You can buy yourself another book. But if I find that you are using that to write perverted things, know I will be taking that as well. I don't understand why you care so much; it's functionless. If it were the Pentland of Power, I could understand. But, it's a book. Just.." She sighed. "Grow up. That's all I have to say to you."

"If I hand it over, will you give me something in return? Something as strong as the pendant?"

That prompted the Hokage to laugh. A large hearty one, right in his face, in tune with the ripples that traveled over her breasts. "A relic that you could actually cause some damage with? The day I let you lay a hand on the artifacts I have crafted myself will be the day you sit in this chair as Hokage. Neither would happen while I'm in charge. I have no plan to let this village fall into what would be a perverted mess if you had any kind of control over things." After she let her laughter gradually die down, she wiped away a nonexistent tear. "Now, bring me the book. You don't deserve it. Which is telling in itself... Not deserving even a piece of junk... Ah well..." Then, with a backhanded wave, she said. "Dismissed."

As silently as he came in, Naruto turned to leave. His emotions stirred within him, only displaying his emotions by the tightness of his clenched fist.

"That shit is going straight into the garbage.." Behind his back, he could hear her mutter. "Can't believe I'm confiscating a useless item."

His worry over her being suspicious about the Pendant of Power and the reality book's potential power together was misplaced. She was too cocky and clearly thought she had him. Well, maybe in any other situation, she would be on top. But the moment she handed him that relic, she also gave away any power she could have over him.

If Tsunade could, resist the book's effect, he'd find out soon. There's no way he's going to hand it to anyone. Hokage's command be damned.
