A Massive Ego

Carol Danvers struggled against the stone figures holding her down, her cosmic powers depleted after hours of constant battle against a man who claimed to be the very embodiment of the planet they stand upon.

Honestly, he just looks like an older Snake Pliskin to the former Air **** Pilot, but she couldn’t exactly voice her opinions with her face in the dirt.

“I have to say when I heard the rumors about a being powered by an Infinity Stone, I was naturally skeptical and yet here you stand an Earther of all things. Well kneeling more like it.” The man said before ordering one of his stone copies to smack the struggling Carol in the ass.

The stone hand smacked hard against Carol’s rear, her padded uniform thankfully taking the brunt of the strike while the captive hero screamed in protest, her voice muffled by the dirt.

“Keep struggling and I’ll smack you again.” The man said, striking Carol’s ass once more before approaching the restrained hero.

“I have to say though it’s been some time since I’ve been to Earth. To think your people even obtained an Infinity Stone much less use one.” He continued to say impressed before halting with curiosity and asking, “You’re not my kid, are you?”

Screaming in denial the man laughed before clapping his hand together and continuing “Right I thought not name’s Ego by the way.”

Cursing his name Carol ceased struggling in favor of gathering the necessary energy to blast her way out. A simple strategy but one Ego clearly saw coming as he smacked her ass once more and decided to explain the situation to the captured hero.

“Now we can’t well have a living battery such as yourself flying around the universe with that kind of power. So, what to do with you?” He asked politely as he finally hovered over the captured hero.
