Chapter 8 by ShadeWriter ShadeWriter

What happens next?

A Massive Backfire

In a perfect world, the Pokeball would have hit Misty. She would have been broken and bent to the will of the one who held the Mistress Ball, namely Jessie. It would have been the start of something grand. A team of sexy, curvy and evil trainers and leaders, following the orders of a new Leader. A Team 'Rockettes' if you would. The glorious and wondrous world of Jessie being a queen of all.

But, the world is not perfect. The world in fact seems to laugh at anything Team Rocket seems to do, and the mightiest of Pokemon falls before even the might that is one called Murphy that seems to follow the trio around. As Misty fought to get her leg free, this **** went to work.

"Just the sort of dumb trap those guys usually do." Misty grunted as she grabbed for a Pokeball.

In her haste though she hit the wrong ball and called for a Pokemon she didn't intend to. The Energy field generated and spat forth a yellow duck like creature that had the dumbest look on it's face. Before it could process what was going on, something slammed into the back of it's head, sending it plummeting to the ground, it's beak trapped in the earth. Whatever hit it went rocketing off into the air.

"Psy a a ai duck..." it moaned through it's trapped beak.

"Psyduck! I didn't mean for YOU to come out!" Misty yelled at the poor pokemon, "Agh... great. While you're here could you at least give me a hand!"

"Eh... why didn't... WHAT?!?!" Jessie thought as she quickly tried to process what happened. The mistress ball was going to hit the little gym leader but then that stupid Pokemon showed up and blocked it. "Why does she even HAVE that Pokemon still?!?!" Jessie screamed in her head. It was on par with Wobbafet in how useful it was and prone to doing it's own thing. If not worse!

"Wait... the Pokeball? Where's the Pokeball?" Jessie looked around for her one of a kinda ball. It was key'd to work on Humans not Pokemon, so it just rebounded hard off the thick skull of the Psyduck. But she didn't see where it went. Left right, down Up.... wait up? Jessie whipped her head upward with enough **** one would think she'd break her neck that way.

"....Oh you have gotta..." Jessie got out before the shape of the Pokeball slammed into her face.

The Rocket member screamed as the energy flowed over her body, slowing changing her form into a state that would be compatible with a Pokeball. before being dragged inside. Falling to the ground, the ball gave a few little wiggles before a familiar "pa ching" sound was heard, indicating a catch.

Moments later, the Red Head had freed herself, with some help from her clumsy Pokemon. She'd seen the light show and heard the cry so wanted to see what was happening. Other than a camo blanket and a strange looking pokeball, there was nothing besides the sign of someone sitting and waiting for a while.

"Strange... what is this?" Misty muttered as she picked up the ball and flicked out her pokedex. It was a smaller model that featured all kinds of uses besides the Dex, including being able to link up with Pokeballs to ID owners. Though nothing came up on this Pokeball, which was weird enough. "A jail broken ball? What's going on?" Misty whispered as she thought.

"PSY.....Uck." Her companion said, making Misty lose her focus.

"OH WHO ASKED YOU!?!? ...Agh, she's not here! Let's just... go home." Misty groaned. And entire evening out chasing Team Rocket and all she got out of it was a weird pokeball and a half sprained ankle. She'd have to put some ice on it when she got home. Maybe see the doctor tomorrow. The gym leader just put the strange ball in her bag and started on the long trek back home.

Unaware of what had happened and what was still happening inside the Pokeball.

Stay with Misty or Observe Jessie?
