Chapter 3 by Abdulalahazred Abdulalahazred

What's next?

A MAU crash lands.

One such object had spun on a long period orbit between gravity wells for countless years until it finally came into the yoke of earths mass. The unit flared, bright as the sun as it shot through the layered strata of atmosphere, random chance bringing it to a dense urban area on the North American continent. It hit the ground, showering dirt and debris in a large cloud over the back yard of a residential property.

“What the hell was that?!” Luke asked as he sat up in bed.

“Huh?” Tracy said tiredly as she rolled over and looked at the clock. “It’s 3:34 am. Go back to sleep Luke.” She rolled over and snuggled into him, her breasts pressing pleasantly into his chest as her slim curves reminded him just how sexy she was. He reluctantly disentangled himself from his wife’s embrace to her annoyed moan and slipped on his slippers and grabbed a torch. “The sound came from the back yard,” he muttered.

He made his way downstairs outside onto the deck and shone his torch into the smouldering crater that dominated his back yard. He’d only just grassed the yard and now it was ruined! “What the fuck?” Had someone let off a mortar?! He moved to inspect the smoking hole and saw a glint of metal at the base of the crater, half buried. Gingerly he reached down to touch it. It wasn’t hot. Weird.

“Luke? What happened?” His neighbour Bill asked from over the back fence.

“I don’t know. Someone let off a mortar I think.” He said as he pried the metal object free and stared at it in his hand. What was it? It looked alien! A seamless metal box, about 9 inches by 15 inches by 4 inches thick. It was incredibly light. The only thing visible on the box are some alien symbols.

“Christ. I’ll call the cops. The bomb squad. Don’t touch it...” Bill said.

“Too late. It’s not a mortar. It’s...” he walked over to the fence and shrugged, holding it up for Bill to see. “I don’t know what it is. I’m going to examine it in the shed. You wanna come see?”

Bill shook his head no and yawned. “Maybe after work tomorrow. I have a busy day and need my sleep. Later Luke.” Bill waved and headed back to bed.

Luke waved back absently and headed into his garden shed, turning the item over in his hands as he examined it. He let out a startled cry as his hand brushed the alien symbols and the small metal thing started to grow larger and heavier and he dropped it in surprise. The thing grew into a booth like box shape, lying on its side. “Holy crap?! What it this?”

The device then self-righted, and moved itself to a stable and level position in the middle of the shed to complete opening. Three sides were bare; the fourth was covered by what looked like a door on half, with controls on the other half. The door had a purplish crystal.

What was most interesting to Luke was the control panel. There was a ruby control plate looking like a three fingered hand of a bird or dinosaur-paw print, and above it, a rectangular display surface - a black panel, about nine by eighteen inches, centered, it's matte surface seeming to absorb every bit of light which struck it.

Luke experimentally touched the ruby control plate and the display slowly scrolled through alien characters. Unknown to Luke these were the Gamalfi Corp's standard disclosure, license agreement, and disclaimer from damage. It also stated, very clearly, in perfect Fwirthian script, that the unit had been activated for a four day evaluation period, and that changes subsequent to that period would require electronic payment to the Gamalfi corporation. That pressing on the crystal plate indicated that the user accepted the terms of the license agreement, including the time limitation.

Luke shrugged in confusion and pressed his hand against the crystal again, unknowingly agreeing to the terms and conditions of his trial period.

He idly imagined what would leave a three fingered hand print like that on the box, his imagination spawning a reptilian humanoid. The MAU read his mind and the system immediately displayed the form as envisaged by his thought patterns. Luke blinked as the image in his mind appeared perfectly on the panel above. “Huh. Incredible... I wonder...” he thought about a new body, that of his wife Tracy and the display showed it, naked and lovely. “Hmmm....” She was sexy but... lightly larger breasts, a little shorter... sexy as hell... subtlety her form changed. On a whim he imagined her with little cow horns and ears, a cow tail and a bell collar. A cute little randy cowgirl. Luke removed his hand and the display froze on the last configuration.

Luke touched the purplish knob which caused the door to open. When the door 'opened', part of the side simply disappeared. He blinked and looked within. The inside of the box was as plain as the outside with two exceptions, the first, a purple crystal button on one wall, and second, a lightly glowing translucent yellow crystal on the ceiling.

With a shrug of his shoulders Luke stepped in and pressed the purple button within.

Instantly, the opening vanished, replaced by the solid metal wall. More disturbing, the purple crystal lost its glow, as if it were now inactive. As Luke turned toward the now-missing door in alarm, he noticed that the glow had changed. He glanced up just in time to see the faint yellow change to a bright red light.

For several seconds, Luke felt frozen in place, bathed in the intense red glow. And then, just as suddenly as it had come, the red color vanished and the faint yellow glow returned. The ceiling of the chamber seemed to shudder and jump away at the same time as the missing door reappeared, allowing his escape from this strange box. Luke saw the light coming into the box, and turned to face it. He noticed a heavy weight sway on his chest as he turned and heard the dull noise of a cowbell. Something just above his ass moved as well... like a tail? He stepped out and realised the she and booth were larger. No. He was smaller.

Luke looked down with dawning horror at what seemed to be mammoth breasts from his new perspective. “Oh crap!” Luke said. Voice high and feminine and sounding like Tracy! He looked past those large mannerisms and saw... nothing. No penis. No balls. Well not nothing. Tracy’s familiar feminine mound and sex. He was a she. But not entirely Tracy though. Luke reaches to her temples and found the little cow horns. Her tail switched in agitation. She was a cowgirl.

What Luke didn't quite understand was that the machine not only built the body as he'd designed it, but it also had the power to make slight adjustments in the mind as well. Not huge, but slight. Like increasing the libido, or making a body comfortable with the changes. And since this cowgirl form was an ultra sexy version of Luke’s wife Tracy, including increased attitudes and desire for sex, the machine had faithfully made the mental adjustment in Luke. Luke had thought this form as randy as hell. And she was.
