What happens now?
A Little Talk with a Park Ranger
Kitty looks up the trail going away from the camp in the other direction and sees a big but not unattractive woman hiking down the trail.
Logan sees her too, and mutters, "Cripes, and a redhead too..." He stands up and responds: "Madame! I am Pierre from Canada! I have been camping all my life! What are you saying, that I put out ze fire?"
The woman approached the men. "Shorty, didn't you two read the rules posted at the park entrance where you parked your car? It says clearly 'No campfires' and 'No camping'! You have to put that fire out!"
'Pierre' replies: "Although I admit the careless cause much trouble, we are not so irresponsible! I have constructed the fire pit most skillfully: no fire will escape..."
The park ranger walks up to the pair with a frown on her face, some sort of pad already out, and she is feeling about herself, searching for a pen.
