A Jewelry Heist

You are wandering the upper west side, when you see a jewelry store with it's front window broken open by some kind of L.A.W. rocket or something, and people inside holding the clerks and customers at gunpoint while they take jewelry out of the cases.

This is a real turning point for you, the way you see it you have two choices here, fate won't decide this one for you, you either try to stop the crooks, or you don't.

If you try to stop them you might get shot, you might get caught up in this and hauled before the 'Meta-human Mobilization Department' even if you don't want to be, but should you survive you will undoubtedly be hailed as a hero.

If you don't on the other hand, if you just keep walking, well you are pretty sure one of the clerks has noticed you, and THAT would mean, as the meta-human who saw the scene and did nothing you would be assumed to be a villain, or even in league with the robbers!

You have mere seconds to decide before the choice may be taken from you, it doesn't look like the robbers have that much more cases to clear before they make good their escape...
