They'd both been apprehensive about the move. But the opportunity was too good to pass up! His work had offered to move him to Hypnos to study their unique magic and would be doubling his pay. Apparently, it was very important work and he was needed there as soon as possible.

His wife, Carla, was just as apprehensive. She'd heard plenty of rumors about the town and was almost scared to go. It took several assurances from her husband until she returned. She wasn't sure what to expect, but she knew it would be a good change for the both of them.

They'd been in a major city for so long that they were both beginning to feel closed in. This fresh start was just what they needed in order to reorganize their lives and focus more on each other. With the doubled salary, she could stay home and take care of the house while Derek worked!

He didn't mind this. He loved his job. Granted, he didn't know what his new job environment would look like. But he was going to do one last tour of their house before the movers got there. He wanted to make sure everything was ready.

His realtor, Katherine, was there as well. She had been a big help over the past few weeks and now that things were wrapping up, he was glad to have had someone like her in his corner. Katherine, though, had something else in mind.

She worked closely with the people in charge of the town, so she was given insight into the newcomers. It was rare to get a couple and even rarer for only the husband to be affected by the town's magic. That meant that she could use her position to her advantage. It had been too long since she'd had some fun; if things went well, she might even have a new toy. The idea of stealing the hot young stud from his clueless bride got her incredibly wet.

Their walk through the house was mostly uneventful until they reached the master bedroom. Without the furniture, it seemed massive. Katherine walked into the middle and turned to Derek. "What do you think about me?"

It came out of nowhere and caught him off guard. Still, he did his best to answer. "Well, you've been a big help and I'm not sure we could have gotten this house without you."

She loosened the buttons on her top, "I meant: what do you think of me as a woman? Am I your type? Am I attractive? Do I turn you on?" She bit her lip and let her sultry gaze rest on him.
