A Hippogriff

Wandering the forest for a bit the pair soon heard the sound of wings and a familiar roar. Looking to the source they were surprised to find a Hippogriff had arrived on the scene. It looked to the pair the first pair of humans it had crossed paths with after the great flash. The Hipppogriff looked very familiar to the pair as Harry carefully approached it.

"Be careful Harry, remember what Hagrid said about Hippogriffs." Hermione said as Harry then noticed something.

"Buckbeak?" Harry asked and thus the Hippogriff recognized Harry.

"Respectful one and mate?" Buckbeak responded much to Harry and Hermione's shock.

"Did... did Buckbeack speak?" Hermione asked and thus Buckbeak heard them.

"Respectful one and his mate can understand me now?" He asked and thus the Hippogriff approached them. Harry bowed to Buckbeak and in response the Hippogriff bowed back to them.

"Its good to see you again." Harry said rubbing the Hippgriffs head happy to see him.

"And you as well, you seem different what has happened its as if the world itself as returned to a state of life?" Buckbeack asked curious as to what had taken place.

"It's a long story." Harry said and thus the sound of thunder was heard from afar. "But first we need to find shelter." Harry said and thus Buckbeack kneeled down.

"Climb I shall take you to a safe location." Buckbeak said and thus Harry nodded and climbed on. He offered his hand to Hermione who then took his hand before they both departed. Flying off they made their way to a safe place to wait out the storm.
