A Hero

"I've noticed you've made quite the reputation as a hero; saving civilians, stopping smaller crimes, picking up where the big guys can't."

Suddenly it clicked. Knowing where I live, knowing my hero identity, and that red hair. I'm talking with the one and only Batgirl. "I know who you are, well when you have your mask on that is."

"Heroic and not an idiot, I might've just found quite the catch." Once again helping herself she grabs a handful of Hershey kisses from the table and begins to munch away.

She reaches for another handful but I swat her hand away, "I'm not made of money."

This seems to have embarrassed her, timidly she slides the trash from the candy into her pocket and clears her throat, "S-So, I didn't come here for no reason."

"Well obviously not."

She pinches the brow of her nose, "Batman is missing, he disappeared right around the time you showed up."

"Excuse me?" My jaw drops, "How does something like that even happen?!"

"That's why I came here, hoping you might know something. But sadly that doesn't seem to be the case."

"Well obviously not, does anyone else know about this? If the big time villains found out...all hell would break loose." I grab my chin in thought, 'How does a member of the Justice League up and vanish? Especially a founding member nonetheless.'

"Does that mean you'd be willing to help out? We need as many people as possible working as discreetly as possible. Gotham needs it's protector."

"Of course, I'll help any way I can. That's why I started what I was doing!"

She jumps up and brings into a deep hug. Since I'm still sitting though she unintentionally shoved my face between her breasts, maybe some fun can come out of this as well as some answers. "I need to get to work."

"Oh sorry for taking up so much of your time! Here's my number, shoot me a text when you can. I'll be patrolling tonight."

"Thanks, got to go, you can let yourself out." I see no reason not to trust Batgirl, so I rush off ahead of her.
