A Good Samaritan

Dana woke up gasping for air and trying to catch her bearings. She saw she was not on the rough but rather in someone’s bedroom and covered by a blanket. She was still completely naked and still very beat up. She tried to get up but collapsed to the floor. She was still completely exhausted and found her body was still not listening. A knock on the door startled her as a woman’s voice asked through the door, “Are you alright in there? Can I come in.”

Dana covered her naked body and answered, “Yes, I’m quite alright and please come in.” The door opened to a brunette girl in her early twenties carrying a tray with a sandwich and a cup with what looked like lemonade.

The young woman spoke and said, “I brought you some food and something to drink. You look like you were exhausted when I found you on the roof. Can I ask why you are naked?” She handed Dana the tray as she attempted to eat the food without flashing the young woman.

Dana took a bite of the sandwich and drank some of the lemonade, immediately feeling her body recovering. She tried to find a reasonable answer and decided upon, “I’m not really sure how to explain it or if you’ll even believe me…” Dana took another bite and another drink as she thought of a good reason. “Im assuming you’ve seen the news about what’s happened today…”

The young woman nodded and said, “Yes that terrifying monster wrecked havoc on the city and subway system. Apparently a single woman took it down and she was also naked…”

Dana smiled and said, “I’m that lady…Lady Eve to be exact.” Her blanket fell off her tits and jiggled in place. The lady was shocked that she had somehow given aid to the hero of the city. She was more gorgeous than the videos that had captured her and Lady Eve was naked in her bed.

Dana realized she was supposed to be a meeting and asked, “Where are my manners? I haven’t even caught your name despite you saving me.”

“I’m Claire and it’s nice to meet you,” she said offering a hand to shake. Dana grabbed it and winced as her hands were still pretty sore from the previous battle.

“Pleasures all mine, Claire. So I was wondering if I could borrow a phone? As you can see, I don’t clearly have anyway to carry one,” she said with a chuckle.

Claire laughed as she handed her phone to Dana and said, “I was gonna ask why you have to be naked. Isn’t it embarrassing to have everything out there for everyone to see?”

Dana rubbed her head and said, “I…kinda had a problem of being naked in public so this was never really a problem for me. I would say it’s more of a perk now.” Dana punched in the number for Janice and heard it ring a few times.

“Hello? This is Janice,” said the familiar voice.

“Hey Janice! It’s Dana. I’m glad to see you’re doing alright,” she said with some relief that she wasn’t affected by the fighting.

“Oh my goodness! Is that you Ms. Dana? I’ve been trying to reach you for hours and I heard that monster destroyed the subway,” Janice said as Dana could hear light sobbing. “Where are you right now?”

“I’m not entirely sure where I am but please know that I am safe. Her name is Claire and she has helped me out so far. Im using her phone right now and she is letting me stay at her apartment.”

“That’s great to hear, ma’am. Just knowing you are safe means so much,” Janice said with more passion than she usually has. “That monster caused quite a ruckus so I’m not sure when I can come and get you.”

“It’s alright. I’ll find my way back to you, Janice. I do need help with one thing though: we should probably cancel my meeting,” Dana said as she just remembered that is where she was headed.

“I’m already ahead of you. I canceled it the moment I couldn’t get in contact and truthfully they understood considering how much damage was caused by that hideous creature,” she told Dana.

Dana let out a sigh of relief as she said, “Thank you as always for staying on top of everything, Janice. I’m gonna go now but I’ll try to get back to you soon.”

Janice responded, “No rush, ma’am. I’ll try to be patient as I await our next conversation.” Dana hung up the phone and handed it back to Claire.

“Thank you again, Claire,” Dana said with a smile and an empty plate. “I really should be going now as I’m feeling much better thanks to you.” Dana got to her feet and felt her strength had returned.

“Are you sure you don’t want to stay, Lady Eve?” Claire asked with a look of disappointment.

“How about this? Write out your number on my arm and once I get a phone I’ll reach out to you,” Dana said with a smirk. “Also do you have a trench coat I could possibly borrow?”

“Oh of course!” Claire said as she headed for her closet as she pulled out a brown trench coat. “Try this on.” Dana did and it was a bit snug and showed off a lot of bare leg but it was better than being completely naked. She rolled up her sleeve as Claire wrote out her phone number on her skin.

“Perfect! I’ll get back to you once I’m safe and sound so that I can return the favor for you in the future, Claire. Plus I can also return your coat,” Dana said with a wink as she left out the front door.

“I really hope you use my rooftop again, Lady Eve,” Claire said with a hopeful tone before closing the door. Dana chuckled as she better mark this place as a safe haven should she ever need to lay low.
