A Girl

"Hey! Are you okay?"

Cardin was approached by a girl he didn't recognize.

"My name's Uraraka!" the girl said. "Ochaco Uraraka! What's your name?"

"Uh, um, Cardin Winchester," Cardin said. "Where am I?"

"What, did you hit your head or something?" Ochaco asked. "This is UA Academy! Are you a new student here?"

"Sure," Cardin said.

"Well, I hope we can be good friends!" Ochaco said. "What's your quirk?"

"My...quirk?" Cardin asked.

"Yeah! You know, your powers," said Ochaco. "Watch this!"

Cardin watched as Ochaco made herself levitate.

"That's my quirk, gravity," Ochaco explained. "I can make anything float!"

"Oh!" Cardin said. "Right. My quirk. My quirk is, uh, um..."

He didn't have his Semblance on him, but would that even work in this place?

He then looked at the remote in his hand. "My quirk is this remote. It's able to...control people! Yeah."

Ochaco looked confused. "Remotes can't be quirks."

"It's a special remote," said Cardin.

"Okay," Ochaco said. "Prove it. If your remote is your quirk then use it to control..."

"Hey! Uraraka!"

Another girl, this one with pink skin, joined them.

"Mina, this guy says he has a remote quirk." Ochaco said.

"Never heard of something like that," the pink girl, evidently named Mina, said. "Prove it."

Cardin aimed the remote at Mina and pushed a random button.
