A Friend in Need

You took a moment to rest up before deciding it's time to start on your quest. You tell your sister it's time to go. She comes out of her room holding a picture in her hands. "What's that?" she gives it to you and you see that it's a photo of them and their parents on a picnic.

You smile at that pleasant moment before giving it back to her. "Don't worry. We may be gone for a while, but we'll be back. Like our father said, the infected are physically all right. They'll be okay." Your sister looks up at you and ask: "You think so." You paused for a moment before hugging her and saying "I know there is." She smiled and then say: "All right brother, let's go." Before you leave, you look down towards the floor. 'They'll be okay.... right?'

The two of you looked out through the door to see that it was clear for now, proceeded to make your way to the north entrance while avoiding trouble in the streets. You told your sister to not panic and stay close. You see other Pokemon fighting the infected. Some were overpowering them, others are not so lucky.

You try to keep your sister from watching the ones who are about to **** their victims. You were near the front entrance when you heard a scream from the lower right. "That sound like.." You didn't finished before you start pursuing the sound. Turning around the corner, you see a Buneary being attacked by a Swampert.

When you noticed yellow ribbons in the Buneary's ears, you automatically know who she was. "Kate, I need you to hide. Don't leave until I say so, you understand?" She nods and proceeds to go into the bush. You go after the Swampert and use quick attack on it. While it didn't do much damage, it provided the distraction for the Buneary to get some distance from it.

You then attacked with Thundershock, but the Swampert wasn't effect by it at all. 'Drat! I forgotten that Swampert's are duel water/ground types!' The Swampert took advantage of that mistake and used Mud Shot, hitting you right in the face and blinding you. You kneeled down in pain and tried to rub it off. The Swampert then started to charge at you...

1. But was attacked before being able to finish.

2. And knocked you out.
