A Friend...for now

As Heather pulled Emily towards the girls changeroom, Emily couldn't help but wonder why Heather didn't have more friends. Was it because like her most women judged Heather preemptively? Was it because Heather keeps her walls up and few people try to break them down to get to know her? Regardless of the reason Emily intended to befriend Heather Reeves, if Emily could give second chances to television characters she could certainly give Heather a second chance.

Heather stood in front of the changeroom mirrors, pushing her bra up and pursing her lips. Before starting to wipe the smeared makeup off her face with some wipes from her purse. Emily couldn't believe she was here with Heather a year ago she would've punched someone for suggesting this could happen. After all Heather was the one to spread the rumour that Emily and Chloe were closeted lesbians.

"Hey Em, you don't mind if I call you Em do you?" Emily told her it was fine though she doubted Heather would've really cared if she did. "I wanted to talk to you about the things I said last year..." Emily was stunned and looked at Heathers reflection in the mirror, her piercing green eyes were staring back at her. Looking for Emily's reaction, Emily didn't know how to respond...
