A Few Tweaks

Dr. Cassandra Grove was the greatest scientist of her generation. Through tireless study, she had discovered cures for the world’s worst diseases and advanced agricultural studies enough to end world hunger. But none of her discoveries saw the light of day, because the world’s billionaires believed them to be unprofitable. So she turned her efforts to a new field: time travel. She knew what she had to do: travel back and prevent the Industrial Revolution. This would prevent massive damage to the environment and keep the world’s plutocratic ruling class from ever emerging.

What she should have known was that the billionaires would never allow this. They had discovered time travel years ago, but of course kept it entirely to themselves. They could have just gone back and strangled her in her crib, but they told themselves that they weren’t murderers. Instead, they just… tweaked a few things about Cassandra’s personal history. She met some different friends in high school, some different guys in college, some new **** that did wonders for her brain’s pleasure centers.

So Cassie Grove dropped out of college, well before she could do anything silly like discovering time travel, and devoted herself full time to sucking and fucking like she always should have done. She had no idea what a molecule or a test tube was, and she didn’t care. She was so happy and it felt so good.
