A Few More Scores

Salem looked up lazily towards Venus. He had a serious expression on his face as he walked up to the tech circle, reared his fist back and then struck it powerfully. Air air burst out from the tech circle and kicked up some snow and dirt around the area before he stepped back to watch the number steadily climb up.

"Power score two thousand, seven hundred and fifty. Role assignment, Rook."

The tech circle announced loudly. Salem rolled his eyes and arched a brow as a rook symbol lit up his tech bracelet, labeling him as well.

"Next!"

Teddy bent down to kiss Ronnie on the lips and then rub her pregnant belly lovingly. They were expecting again as of this morning.

The young farmer took a running start and hit the circle as hard as she could. She was only human though...

"Power score, two hundred and forty-nine. Role assignment, Knight."

The tech voice announced loudly. Teddy grinned faintly, proud of her score as she shook her hand and walked back over to her lover, sitting down beside her and the crackling camp fire.

Sage glanced down at her bracelet. She pursed her lips seeing the glowing tank number and position she'd gained before everyone had gathered for the test. She was stuck at the rank of Queen with a power level of eleven thousand, five hundred exact. And her power house of a mother, Chae Sr, was also a queen at 21,900. It sent a terrible chill down her spine.
