A Few Days Later...

You're smoking a joint out your bedroom window, your friends sitting around you when you find out. Lukas passes it over to you, and you gently take the thin paper cylinder filled with weed and tobacco. You inhale deeply, bringing the familiar smoke into your lungs, before offering it to Daniel.

"Nah, man. I can't," he responds. "I gotta study for next week. I'm so fucked, I've done nearly nothing."

"Next week? What's next week?"

The trio freezes, all eyes immediately drawn on you. Fuck. That's never good.

"You don't know?" Ben asks incredulously, taking the joint from you and inhaling.

"I don't know what?" you ask.

"How the fuck didn't you remember this, mate?" Lukas chuckles, before offering you the joint. "Here, smoke this. You need it."

"Oh, go fuck yourself and just tell me," you say, taking the joint and having a long drag.

"It's exams, dude," Lukas says. "The school year's nearly over. We have like two weeks of exam. Have you not been studying? Are you at all prepared?"
