A Dig gone awry

A trio of researchers were looking for artifacts in a Forest.

Unfortunately, their trip took them too close to *this* Forest.

They drove in.

They looked for bones and other markers of a past civilization.

Once the trap was ready, the Cultists popped up in their Crow getups!

They ran.
Obviously.

The trio got separated, as two of them went to get their satellite phones.
The other went to the car to flee.

Two of them ran towards a trap...

The blonde made it to the car.
She got inside.
Another Cultist was waiting for her and put a chloroform-soaked rag to her face!

The other two found no way to call for help and got grabbed.
