A Dark Image

At first Aaron couldn't quite make out the picture he had received, there was a partial wooden frame around the edge and it was quite dark. Holding his thumb on the image he saved it to his phone and began to increase the brightness. It took him a few precious moments to release the odd partial frame was of a desk that his friend was currently beneath, it was dark due to the office being dark.

Having brightened the picture Aaron could see a pair of taloned feet lingering in the bottom right of the image, hopefully his random text hadn't revealed his friend's hiding place. Aaron hoped that he hadn't involuntary brought about his friend's damnation into an Incubus. Not wishing to think about the possibility of losing a friend, Aaron slid the phone back into his pocket.

As he wandered down the hallway, he felt a series of buzzes erupt in his pocket. Slowly Aaron slid out the phone, there were 3 notifications all from James. Holding the phone in one hand Aaron tapped the notifications only to be greeted by...
