A Dangerous Addiction
Kazex held his breath as he carefully balanced the tiny ladle of azure slime that threatened to overflow. It hovered above the steel cylinder holding the boiling concoction, and its acrid stench and yellow coloring reminded Kazex of wyvern piss. When at last the ladle was lowered safely into the cylinder, he dumped the contents in and watched with an ever-held breath. His lungs burned as a sparkling mist rose from the alchemical reactions therein, but the runes in the cylinder held and a soft, verdant mixture remained. His latest creation was complete! He had but one ingredient to add.
"Fricking Hell yes! I am the best... alchemist... EVER!" the little wretched moaned as he jacked off over the container, dribbling three tablespoons of goblin breeding batter into the mixture. Greedily it gulped up the beige-to-white fluid, turned black for a few seconds, and finally settled back into its stable green coloration. "Perfect," he sighed, and readied his syringes with a goblin tune.
Later...
The warrior stirred, and she could feel soft pinpricks here and there through the haze of the drug.
Drug...? That's... that's right, that goblin... tied me... he came in with a rag, and smothered me, and the smell was... he's... he's still here...!
Kazex withdrew the empty syringe from behind her knee, and with good timing too: she was starting to recover already from the elf-bell extract-soaked rag he shoved into her face. "You're crazy tough, that would put out a goblin for a day!" He chuckled as she started to writhe, and put the ninth syringe back on his leather roll of surgeon tools before picking up the tenth and final one.
"What are..." Small pains started to travel through her body, and she looked down as she moved her legs, catching peeks of the bruises of where he had stabbed her with the strange devices he wielded. "... those... are those... artificer darts?!"
"Artificer darts?!" Kazex wrinkled his massive nose in offense. "You mean those arrows you dumb humans put on top of a bottle of amateur brews? Hah! This is refined goblin engineering, miles ahead, miles ahead!" He cackled at the thought. She'd be dead if he used such barbaric, stupid designs!
"Miles...? Since when do-" She shook her head. The drug was wearing off completely, and she started to spot the other bruises: one by each of her nipples, three on her (now cleanly shaved) pubic mound, one behind each knee, and her neck ached in at least two places. "What is this, then? Trying to poison me?!"
"Yulie von Kallstadt." The warrior froze as Kazex spoke. "Daughter of Russ von Kallstadt III, Count of Valdedorf... and a woman possessed by her fantasies of other women in the court."
"You..." Her eyes narrowed. A goblin that could brew potions, or make use of such strange technology... of course he could read, and of course he had already managed to open and read her journal. "How dare you!"
"I think I've dared plenty worse than a bit of reading, Yulie," he taunted. He tapped his syringe, and smiled as it dripped a bit of his concoction.
Yulie's eyes fixated on that brilliant green, lit by the sunrod in the makeshift torch sconce on the far wall of her cell. "What... what are you stinging me with, then? A disease? A slow poison?" Her body shivered, and she could no longer tell if it was her own fear or some more insidious cause.
"Well, I need you breed me a new tribe, and I need you to cooperate!" he lectured as he walked towards her manacled arm. She tried to shift or move it about, but the clasp held her flesh tight, and all her struggling did was make the vein more visible. "So I managed to mix two different potions, and have them both operate on the same catalyst! One makes you extra fertile whenever you absorb the catalyst, no matter where you absorb it; you could have twins or even triplets just from one such dose from a human... nevermind what my seed will do, kekekek!"
Her face grew pale at the thought. "No..."
He put a single claw against her lips. "Shhh, your Master isn't done talking!" She snapped her teeth at his finger, and he withdrew it with a shriek and then a nervous laugh. "Kek... well! You shouldn't hurt me, because of the other effect! See, you need the catalyst, or else your body will start getting cold, your blood will flow slower, and eventually you'll start to hallucinate, lose your will to live... and all because you can't get your new favorite thing to eat or drink! It can eventually lead to organ failure and death, but by then you'll be so desperate for the stuff that you'll surely get it, as long as you don't kill the source!"
She shook her head in disbelief, and watched as he put the needle close to the lower half of her forearm. "W-Wait! Don't do this, please-"
"Huuuh? Are you dumb? Are you simple? Kekekekek!"
"Just... please... don't..."
"I already did, idiot!" The color drained from her face as he laughed. "All that happens with just one dose, but I need you to give me lots more than normal, at least as long as you're my only breeding slave. So with this tenth one, you'll... hmm..." He softly scratched his filthy little chin with the tip of the needle. "You'll probably give birth to maybe... twenty goblins per catalyst dose."
"... W..." She shook her head and gave up trying to question it; he had to be lying.
"That's if you take it right in the twat of course, and only once! Every time you take in the catalyst, though, it'll be another twenty until you're finally pregnant enough that your body stops giving us more... of course, that won't stop you, since you'll feel terrible, maybe even die if you don't get it at least once a day!"
"What the Hell are you even talking about? What is this 'catalyst'?!"
"Dummy," he teased, and stretched the skin of her arm so her vein was perfectly visible. The syringe poked a neat little hole into her flesh as he spoke. "My semen, of course!"
She shook her head violently, struggled against the bindings, tried to channel a rage to break from these bindings, to escape this fate, to break the syringe before it finished depositing into her body the last tenth of his potions... but she did naught but quicken the alchemy in her veins, and settle it into her flesh ever-faster. The syringe was empty when it was withdrawn, and Kazex licked the tiny wound clean before going to pack up his tools.
"I'll kill you..."
"You better not!" he admonished. "Not just any stupid goblin's jizz will do, you know! It has to be mine... killing me means killing yourself!"
"I'd rather die..."
"You don't mean that," he muttered.
"You know nothing of me!"
He chuckled darkly. "I know you plenty. You're an adventurer! A hero! You also like ladies, and I know you humans get really mad about boys liking boys and the like. You sound like nobility, too... probably brought shame to your dad... but here you are, on an adventure, so I'm betting you're the stubborn kind! You'll hold out for a cure, or for the formula to wear off, or for me to reveal some great weakness in my designs (there aren't any, by the way), and you'll wait like that for... probably years, I bet."
He held the rolled-up leather to his chest and grinned toothily at his pet. She could only grimace in response. "It won't be years. If they find me before you cure me and let me go... the tortures they inflict upon you will become legendary."
His ears perked up. "I hope so!"
