A Control Freak

John's first client of the day was Becca Evans, a pretty 25 year old. She came into his office, plopped down on the couch, folded her arms and glanced off to the side.

"So Becca, what brings you here?"

"My life kinda sucks right now."

"How so?"

"My boyfriend broke up with me, and my boss is being an ass."

"Why did you boyfriend break up with you?"

"He said I was too controlling. I always had to have my way. But I mean, it's like I'm a take charge person. I know what I want and I go get it."

"Did he have input on your dates, when and where you went, and things of that nature?"

"We usually did what I wanted because like I said, I know what I want. He was often too wishy-washy."

"Tell me about your boss."

"He's like my boyfriend. He said I was too stubborn and not willing to listen."

"What do you do for a living?"

"I work for a marketing firm."

"Let's try a relaxation technique then look at this from another angle." John relaxed Becca and put her into a trance.
