A Brood Mother

If the swarm is to grow you'll need more than just help coordinating it, you'll need help to grow and nurture it. Your body is a triumph of evolution guided by an unfathomably ancient intelligence but you were made to lead, not breed. The larva that had been within you were being stored within you rather than being birthed from you. But Evelyn will be the mother of countless young, her children will be the vanguard of a swarm that will consume this world. You watch what remains of her clothes tear to pieces as her skin changes into a chitinous shell. Her belly swells as the tendril occupying her sex pumps her full of tiny spawn that will grow to maturity in her womb. Her eyes snap open as her mind is fully absorbed into your growing hive mind, the feeling it gives you is strange. You could feel all the other creatures in the swarm but they are little more than animals, without your guiding hand there is nothing to them but survival instinct. But the feeling of an another individual is strange, you can feel her mind - her very being.

You can repay me by serving your role - by birthing the hordes that will fulfill our destiny. The chamber opens and the liquids spill onto the floor as the tendrils remove themselves from Evelyn, her transformation complete. She bows her head to you in deference, then moves towards more growths that have formed while you were both in the chamber. The growths will provide the nutrition to maintain the swarm, Evelyn eagerly drinks from a vaguely phallic looking growth, the liquid within will sustain both her and her new children.

But while Evelyn's brood grows you have free time, something that makes you restless. Surely there's something to occupy your time with.
