A Bridge

You head slowly stops spinning and you look about. You are standing a on a bridge made of shiny black rock. Below is a churning ocean that seems to go on forever. A wailing sound seems to come from the steaming water.

As you look more closely you realize it isn’t water, but rather an endless sea of screaming souls. Most are deformed horrors. Some still look vaguely human. It is those that wail the loudest.

You hope Mia and Tanya aren’t in there. Even connected, finding them might prove impossible.

You feel the tug of their presence.

You turn and realize there is a castle in the distance. It appears almost like a shiny black parody of a Disney castle. Parapets and towers grow every which way. An enormous arch sits in front, with giant stalactites hanging from the top. As you take it in, you realize it looks like a monstrous head with a great fanged maw.

You steel yourself and begin walking toward it.

After a half hour of walking you realize it is far bigger and further away than you realized. You press on. It takes three hours for you to reach the gate.

As you get close the fifteen foot ancient wooden door opens on its own. You step inside.
