A Boy

The time comes for Alisa to have her baby. You visit the castle in your natural dragon from ready to use your magic to help Alisa should you need to. After a week of waiting, a young lady comes to you. You have been waiting on a hill next to the castle, the castle itself was built on a slightly larger hill.

"Lord Gorwen, The Lady Alisa sent me, she has gone into labour." She informs you.

"Thank you, please keep me informed of any complications, I shall move close to the castle wall." You instructor her.

"Yes, my lord." She replies. She bows and scurries back to the castle.

You make your way to the castle. You sensitive ears, that allow you to hear what prey on the ground as you hunt from the air, pick up the sounds of Alisa's labour screams. They slowly get more intense then you hear the cry of a baby.

You don't have the energy to transform into something humanoid but you do the best you can to shrink yourself down. You end up the size of a large pony not counting tail and wings. You fly over the castle wall and land in the courtyard spooking some peasants. You intercept the woman on her way out to you.

"Lord Gorwen!" She exclaims in shock "You're small?"

"I have used magic, I can't stay like this long, Take me to Alisa!" You demand.

"Right away, my Lord." She replies. "I was coming to tell you she has had a son. That was all I was told, I was not allowed to see the babe." She informed you on the way.

You work your way through the keep. Most of the rooms and corridors fit your reduced size However, doorways and stairs are a squeeze. It is not long before you are at your mate's side.

"Gorwen! your hear and dragony?" Princess Alisa remarked as you entered.

"I can not stay like this for long, my love." You inform her.

"Your son is healthy, I think. I have little knowledge of human children let alone one-half dragon" Prince David informs you.

"Let me see him." You ask.

Alisa sits up, she looks sweaty and exhausted. In her arms is something wrapped in swaddling. She turns him around and you get a good look at your half-human son. You had seen yourself in a mirror one of the times you had been a humanoid dragon He looked very similar. Draconic face, small horns on his head but human-like green ears, no teeth yet but they would grow in. As Alisa unwrapped him you could see green scales all over his body. You stuck your draconic tongue out, he smelt like a human and was warm like one. He had external genitals, you had not seen those of a human boy but they had identified him as a boy, not a girl so you guessed they looked like male genitals. His body structure was human, you remember seeing Alisa as a baby and she was similar but a bit older. He had a long tail and small wings, too small for him to fly based on their proportions compared with hatchlings you had seen.

"He is fine." You reassure them. "He is not the first Human-Dragon Hybrid and they differ depending on the type and gender of the dragon involved. For a human born, he is big and healthy. He will grow to be a strong human-sized Dragonborn and all his descendants will be Dragon-kin." You explain.

"What should we call him?" Alisa asks.

"I would like to call him Gill'Gem." You declare.

"That is an odd name, I assume it is draconic. What does it mean?" Alisa asks.

"Gill'Gem is a popular green dragon name meaning 'the will to be strong and protective' it is similar to the human name William." You explain.

"I like it." Alisa announces. She turns to face the baby and says softly to it "Welcome to the world, Gill'Gem."

"That is good to know. Gorwen, my friend, let us leave our love and the babe to rest. let's go to the courtyard to chat before you revert back and burst through the roof." said Prince David.

You work your way back down to the courtyard and tell David to meet you outside the castle. You fly back over the wall and release your spell becoming dragon size again. It takes a while but David and some guards join you but the guards stop some distance away by the command of David.

"Tell me, how are you finding ruling Candlestone?" David asks.

"It is good, thanks." You reply.

"Gowen, I have some news for you now that Alisa has had your child." David informs you "I am to become King soon and Alisa Queen."

"Congratulations." You interrupt.

"Yes, Thank you, well as I was saying. For now, your court visits can no longer be conical at least until your boy is weaned and I have been able to impregnate my wife." David tells you.

"I understand, friend, we have to share a mate and since dragon cum is more potent I will have to give you a chance to mate. I will, however, visit more often to be there for my son." You reply.

"That is acceptable. I will see you next week for our monthly chess match and you can see how Gill'Gem is getting on. "

"Agreed" You confirm.

To respect his wishes you also stop your frequent secret meetings with Alisa in the forest.
