A Beautiful Temple

From the market you see a beautiful temple carved into the wall far above you, connected to a number of elaborate bridges. You decide to investigate and make your way through the bending streets, up crowded staircases, and across bridges until you find yourself at the steps of the Temple of Oranliel. As you and the goblins ascend the wide staircase, you hear beautiful singing coming from inside the temple.

When you step into the dimly lit, cavernous hall of worship, it takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. At the center of the long hall, on a wide dais, one woman kneels in the nude, surrounded by a dozen priestesses of every shape and size, wearing thin translucent robes. They burn fragrant incense in swaying censers as they sing. Soon one of the priestesses submerges her hands in a wide bowl of opaque pinkish grey liquid. She then presses her hands onto the arms of kneeling woman, marking her with colored handprints. Other priestesses soon follow suit, using several different colored pastes, marking the kneeler's breasts, face and back in pastel blues and purples until her entire body is almost to be covered.

You and the goblins stare at the ritual, transfixed by the haunting chorus and the incredibly intimate way the women touch one another.

A nearby priestess in black robes suddenly appears.

"Welcome to the Temple of Oranliel."

"What exactly does your temple worship?" you ask in wonderment, the goblins still hypnotized.

"We worship all earthly bodies, sensations, and personal intimacy. We also worship sex and the exploration of carnal pleasure." She says, matter of factly.

"Would you like to participate in the next part of the ceremony?"
