You got through the rest of Mrs. Johnson’s class. And through PE. Now you’re back in the locker rooms. The bell is going to ring in 5 minutes. The pain was constant but slowly shifted downwards to the lower half of your body. You could’ve gone home early, but you didn’t want Mom to know.
