90 Minutes Later

Ninety minutes later, none of them saying a word, and all looking pissed off, with the exception of an amused Dr. Pittman, Team Brian made their way to the cabins. Makayla noticed Alex sitting at a picnic table with his back to her and Sayen across from him laughing at something. The sight annoyed her and she had no way of knowing it was actually Axe's joke that had them all giggling.

Noticing Axe and Makayla look up, Alex turned around smiling, "Hey, Honey."

Makayla did not return the smile and looked on the verge of tears, Alex jumped up and embraced her. Makayla buried her face in his shoulder, then looked up and her eyes met Sayen's who quickly looked away.

"What a mess of a morning," Makayla quietly said to him as her hugged her again.

Bianca and Gina walked out of the cabin.

"Lunch is cold, luckily for you all, it's cold cuts. We already ate, but there is plenty left," Bianca announced as Erik and Gaby walked grumpily past her into the cabin. As Brian came close she stopped him, "Grab a sandwich then we'll find someplace to talk."

Brian nodded and silently entered the cabin.

"Did you eat already?" Makayla asked Alex inquisitively.

"Nah, I was waiting for you," he replied.

Makayla smiled and buried her face in his chest, then looked up at him, "Let's grab a quick bite, then find somewhere to be alone."

Alex took her hand and they went into the cabin.

"So what happened?" Gina asked Pittman.

"Let's just say they were a little off course," he laughed. "I only found them because I could hear them arguing."

"Team building!" Axe declared giving a thumbs up sign as the others laughed.

"A few hurt feelings, but they'll be all right," Pittman added.

Dr. Pittman then glanced over to Sayen.

"Yes, I called her, she's fine," Sayen responded.

He smiled, nodded his head, then started to go into the cabin when Gina stopped him.

"Mind walking with me for a moment? I need some help with something."

"Sure," he replied as they walked toward the men's cabin.

"Did you see anyone messing around my room this morning?" she asked

"Why was something taken?" he replied.

"No nothing like that, just seemed like someone had been in there and it... bothered me a little."

"I didn't see anything, but I'll keep an eye out," he reassured her.

"Thanks."

"What's that about?" Axe asked.

"No clue, but she has been acting a little weird this morning," Bianca answered.

"Yeah she pulled Alex aside earlier on the hike," Sayen added.

"Hmm, I don't know." Bianca said mostly to herself.

Just then Brian came out of the cabin with a plate of food and he and Bianca started walking toward a picnic table further away.
