48 Hours had passed since the last chapter, all 8 passengers have awoken from Cryosleep and Terry had the awful job of informing Emma that her mother did not make it. She took it as well as any other 18 year old that was now stuck on a ship with only 8 people in a galaxy all by themselves. Not well.

The crew could now see their new planet from the windows, and what a welcome sight it was! It was beautiful, lush greens and the blue of the water could be seen, a far cry from what it must look like back on Earth right now. But their attention had to switch to how they were going to land, you see Hope was never designed to enter Haven's atmosphere. They had specially designed pods to enter in. These pods where small and cramped places in comparison to the vastness of Hope. Each designed to transport up to 6 passengers each, which meant they'd need to use 2.

It was decided that Captain Elise and Chief Engineer Terry would travel together in the same pod, along with Emma and the other 5 passengers would take the other pod which would be piloted remotely by the Captain.
