6. You decide to get some work done.

You do have a job and you decide to get some work done. There are accounts to manage and reports to be submitted. All the while, you can’t get Simone Rourke out of your head. You did actually want her on your team for this new project, but there are a few other things you can think of that you want her on.

As quitting time rolls around, you decide to poke your nose out and see if Simone is free or if you can tear her away from what she’s on.

9. She’s still here but you have to see if she can step away from her desk

The cubicles on either side of her are empty, most of the office seems to have gone, but you see she’s still here but working on something. You walk down the row.

“Simone, my office? I have something I want to discuss.”
