Chapter 2 by Drakoval Drakoval

Who are the major players

5. The Martians

The Martians consist of three primary species (Orcs, Kobolds and Goblins), though there is great differentiation amongst each species, based on their chosen habitats and lifestyles. Mars was a planet in decline when life on earth was young. If the plague had not created a migratory opening, Martian life would not have lasted another short millennium. All of the extraterrestrial species had long mastered portal magic, and when the opportunity arose, they used this ability to cross the interplanetary void. Though not strong enough to seize the planet outright, and not expecting portal openings from Venus as well, the Martians were able to secure a strong foothold on earth. They did not intend to form cooperative relations with other species, and only rarely and loosely cooperated with each other.

The Orcs. Orcs are the strongest of the Martian races, averaging 6 and a half feet tall and 250 pounds. Men and women are of equal stature. Some have been known to reach 7 and a half feet and over 350 pounds. In a head on fight they are quicker on their feet than one would expect and make a formidable enemy. They are a race in which each individual is expected to be a fighter or scout first and foremost, with other skills taking a secondary role. Those who choose to specialize in other arts are more tolerated for their usefulness than honored for their achievements. Orcs are found in a variety of locations and their lifestyles vary wildly as dictated by their chosen realms. Locations include subterranean cave networks, plains, forests, jungles, mountains, and the villages and cities taken from other races. They are not too proficient in magic use, since it is considered a less honorable pursuit than fighting face-to-face with an enemy in melee combat, but some orc shamans are capable of minor magics toward healing and attacks such as fireballs and light arrows. The one skill honored by the orcs in general that is not tied directly to fighting is blacksmithing, since every orc is willing to honor the man or woman who keeps his weapon and armor strong and ready.

The Kobolds. Kobolds are a relatively weak race, standing only about 4 foot tall and with a slender build. They will act as thieves in the night, often just stealing, but occasionally slitting throats if they believe they can get away with it in order to avoid being chased down. They always live underground, be it in existing caverns and caves or in dug out tunnels of their own creation. Their only known magical talent is communication telepathically with other sentient beings, making them capable of bartering with some knowledge of how the other trader thinks, and making them quite useful as servants at another's silent beck and call. The dragons in particular have grown partial to using them as an early warning system around their lairs.

The goblins. The most numerous and fastest breeding of the Martian races, but also the physically weakest. The typical goblin stands about 20 to 26 inches tall, is broadly built, and weighs in at around 25 to 35 pounds. They are, despite their stature, a highly aggressive species that relies on rapid breeding to replace the numbers necessary to overwhelm a stronger enemy. Aside from their hands, they have grasping feet and a prehensile tail of 12 to 16 inches, giving them a clinging grapple ability and **** speed and agility when moving aloft through a forest or jungle canopy. They sometimes dwell underground, rarely establish a surface village, and prefer to establish dens aloft when the forest or jungle is thick enough to provide both living space and concealment. It is not uncommon for strong parties to pass beneath a goblin den unmolested, never realizing they literally walked through their enemy's front yard.

The goblins would be relatively sedentary and a minor nuisance were it not for certain interrelated magics in their possession. These magics are both enslavement and reproductive. First, goblin fluids contain pheromones and other ingredients that make them both an aphrodisiac and addictive to varying degrees. Simply spending time around goblins can cause a minor reaction. Being exposed to saliva or urine induces a stronger effect that can render a victim temporarily more susceptible. By far the strongest effect comes from direct exposure to goblin cum. Once a person from another race has been exposed, their resistance is sharply reduced, and continued regular exposure will keep them enthralled and cause their resistance to crumble. Goblins are a single sex race, with males capable of both inseminating each other and producing eggs. Their cum is highly active and insemination is almost a foregone conclusion when copulating. When they produce eggs, they can be carried to hatching, in about 3 weeks, or lain immediately and placed in the rectal opening of another intelligent species, where they are carried to term. The other species, kept in thrall by the goblin's regularly dosing them with come, will come to love and care for their goblin offspring. An al-chemical drink produced by the goblin magicians allows for transforming males of other species into futas. This is extremely important for the goblins other main use of other species. The futas tend to become more docile than the males they are created from, and the development of breasts further allows them to be caregivers for the young. Thus, only futas are required for rearing goblins, and once they inseminate a female and she brings a child to term, the futas can take over child rearing and free up the females for their other important function.

Use of ponygirls and birdgirls to gain mobility. By use of their cum, the goblins can subjugate women, and more rarely harpies, to vastly increase their range and rate of travel, as well as serving as scouts, slavers, and cavalry. These women require constant dosing to ensure lasting loyalty but, over time, can become a willing beast for their diminutive riders. Once subjugation is complete, and with continued maintenance dosing, a ponygirl or birdgirl would willingly lay down their life to protect their master. Many must be kept in harnesses that eliminate their use of arms, but some can be broken in so thoroughly that they can be trusted to wield arms and use light armor while their masters serve as the army's mounted archers. The birdgirls are rare enough that their use is almost exclusively limited to scouting.
