5. She isn’t

You poke your head out of your office to see a note stuck to Nikki’s computer. Apparently she’s gone out with her boyfriend for lunch. You smile. On the one hand you’re annoyed she isn’t there, but on the other hand you know you’re the reason she feels guilty enough to leave her post. Sitting in your waiting area though, you see Simon Forney. You think back to just a few days ago when you and Irene fucked his mother.

“Simon, can I help you?”

“Ms Horn sent me up. She said I was going to be paired with a tutor?”

“Right, of course.”

You usher Simon in and explain the situation with his math grades. He seems receptive to the arrangement you came to between you, Irene, and his mother. Looking at the list of students, you see Noelle Glass is apparently a star math student and open to tutoring. You pair the two of them, sending both an email with the outline of the arrangement.

Sending Simon on his way, you look at the rest of your afternoon schedule. You’re wide open until you have to chaperone the homecoming dance tonight. You decide to get a little more work done.
