4 - Shura

You have selected Shura. Designed by guest artist and Gantz's creator Hiroya Oku, Shura is one of the five bonus characters for SCIV. Her moveset is recycled from Cervantes' albeit with a longer reach.

Born in Suwa, Japan, Shura is a dark character with a penchant for killing wherever she went, to the point she became known as simply Shura, which translates to bloodshed. Challenging and destroying many evil spirits, she was eventually possessed by one who wanted to find the perfect body through which to be resurrected. Though it didn't want Shura's body, the spirit made use of her, enhancing her abilities and giving her power. Shura was okay with that, as long as it helped her keep killing and fighting.

Appearance-wise, Shura has obvious Japanese influences in her design including her weaponry and dragon design on her clothes. Shura is a svelte young woman with a voluptuous body. She wears a black vest top with black underwear and chaps. These are accompanied by blue arm and leg wraps complete with red sandals. Her long hair is tied into a thin ponytail and she has a fringe covering her face. A prominent feature is the grotesque skull of a demon strapped to her left shoulder. Her weapons are twin katanas known as Fujin-Maru and Raijin-Maru.

Personality-wise, Shura is a sadistic woman, liking to tease and play with her opponents before finishing them, offering suggestive remarks with sexually charged humour. Her desire for satisfaction is what makes her be suggestive during fights and she is often left unfulfilled with weaker opponents.
