You open your eyes to find yourself sprawled on the floor, quite naked and quite uninjured. A woman’s voice calls out a familiar name. “Mortimer!”, Elia calls from somewhere outside. She sounds afraid and out of breath. You suspect you’ve been **** for a while; if she hasn’t moved since, she must be injured. She must be lying out there, with cuts and bruises, maybe a broken leg or worse, wondering what will happen to her next. And a few feet away lies the creature responsible for that. You can see it clearly, even in the pale light of the twin moons, the hulking shape of the Incubus. You it’s dead, but you can’t help yourself. A blind rage overcomes you. A roar of anger only mildly surprises when it comes out identical to the raucous wails of the fallen demon. You pick up the corpse with your own newly grown hands, digging your claws into its flesh, wanting to literally tear it apart. Then you smash it against the ground like a ragdoll repeatedly, never satisfied by the endless cracking of huge bones, or the splatter of not-quite-clotted black blood. One of the demon’s horns snaps of its skull, bounces off the ground and hits you square in the face between the eyes. The stunning blow slows you just enough that you can hear Elia screaming, and your rage is spent.
You are a Human Incubus (or Succubus), only not a very stable one. The demon successfully **** unto you its main drive: lust. However it completely failed to specify the nature of that lust. In belligerently struggling against it, it appears you have inadvertently taken that lust and given it to your violent impulses. You are as bloodthirsty as your would-be brethren are hypersexual.
- Roll one die. Divide the result by two. In addition to restoring your PROWESS score to its initial human value, add the remainder. This is your new initial PROWESS score.
- Repeat step 1 for your VITALS score.
- Restore your LUCK to its initial value, but do not exceed it.
- Roll one die. Divide the total by two, rounding downwards. This is the number of times you can afford not to get into a fight when given the opportunity, before you have a fit of uncontrollable, indiscriminately all-destroying fury.
Elia is still calling out for help. She says she’s hurt. As you ponder your drastically new relationship toward her and other humans, you feel your body reducing in stature and returning to its ‘normal’ proportions. You want to help her, but you worry that you might harm her later. Certainly if she even witnesses your true nature, even in action against someone other than her, she will turn against you. Your kind killed off her family. What do you do?
• Go to her aid anyway and hope for the best? Turn to 66.
• Hope she isn’t badly injured and leave her? Turn to 258.
