1st Period: Calculus

You head into Calculus and get situated at your desk, but you're too distracted by your newfound powers to really pay attention to the lesson. You activate your Clairvoyance power, walking your senses around the room, and through the walls into other classes. ‘Huh, Mr. Thompson keeps liquor in his desk drawer…?’

Before you know it, the class is almost over and you haven't learned anything. You try to focus and pay attention, but you're struggling to understand what they're working on now. ‘If only there was a quick way to catch up,’ you wish, then stop to think about it. ‘What was that one mutant’s name, who could do something like that? Prodigy?’

You tinker with the wording and functionality of the ability for a moment, wanting to avoid pitfalls and limitations like happened with the source of your inspiration.

Ability Osmosis: Slowly absorb the knowledge/skills/abilities of those in close proximity, with no effect on the source. Able to focus on one skill and gain a temporarily larger portion of it while the source is present. The more an ability is used while the source of that ability is nearby, the quicker that ability's absorption will progress. Abilities purchased while a suitable osmosis source is within range will have their cost reduced.

As you head to your next class, you can't wait to see what other abilities you can acquire with your newfound power. You can feel Ability Osmosis almost humming in the back of your mind, picking up snippets of knowledge from the swarming masses of students.
