13. She’s right where you left her

You sidle back over to Elena, but before you can say anything she leans over. “I’ll be in the away team locker room.”

She drifts off into the crowd toward her destination. You smile, an interruption later but she’s still interested. You wait for a few minutes before following her.

When you enter the away team locker room, at first you don’t see her. But then she comes out of the corner of your eye to wrap her arms around your neck and draw you in for a kiss.

“I’ve been thinking about yesterday…”
