10. She’s on time

As you open your office door into the waiting room, you see the girl sitting, scrolling her phone.

“Izzy, come on in.”

Her head pops up and she smiles at you. Gathering her things, she walks past you into your office. You let the door close behind her as she settles down on your blue patient couch.

“So, how are things this week?”

Izzy sighs, “Brian keeps texting me to hook up.”

You nod, leaving space for her to continue.

“It’s just like… he knows that’s not what I'm looking for. I don’t want to just hook up with someone. I want a connection. Like I did enough hookups in college, I’m ready for something serious.”
