10. Meri has a few questions about your new project.

Moments later there’s a knock on your door. You look up to see Meri Gwynne on the other side. You wave her in and she quickly enters. She sniffs the air and a look crosses her face that you can’t quite read.

“Mr. Haggard, I had a few questions about the data set we’ll be working from?”

“Ask away.”

She has a few genuine questions about the project which you’re happy to clear up. But the look on her face grows even more obvious until you can tell she can smell your recent exploits.

“And, ok, sorry one final unrelated question?”

“Sure.” You hide the suspicion about where this line of questioning is going.

“I didn’t see your wife come in. Or leave.”

“That’s not a question, Meri.”

“What’s that smell?” She’s timid about asking you, like she’s ashamed of the question.
