Chapter 9 by BriannaRosso BriannaRosso

Is that a small time skip I see?

1 and a half hours later...

They searched everywhere they could. The fridge, the small pantry, their rooms, and those of a few others. There was nothing left in the entire building but a bag of chips, some medicine against headaches, and a single sausage left in the fridge. "Wow...now what? I feel more hungry than I did before...and I shouldn't eat too much, or I'll gain a few pounds again," Liz spoke up, shivering at the thought of becoming a slob like her brother once was a years ago before she left.

They had only worsened their situation. The Virus had been spreading furiously throughout their digestive system, coating its walls with themselves. It soaked into it like a hungry sponge. Defeated once more, the girls sat down and started to stare holes into the ceiling. Their stomachs were growling, their need to eat grew. "The only way of us getting more food is...too.." Sam stopped, feeling a cold look upon her shoulder as she was about to mention something she had never dared to suggest before. But this was the only way to get food without paying. "Hear me out, Alex...the last idea I have that could bring us to food would be to go to the Cheerleader Party in Dorm B." Alex, being a former Cheerleader and now a full-on Nerd, sighed and folded her arms and groaned. "This was the last place I wanted to see tonight, but we are out of ideas...sure, let's head there."

The party was already going on. Jocks flirted with the Cheerleaders. Some wannabe cool guys tried their best too. There were goths, punks, and even a few of the male nerd spectrum. No, not the neckbeards, more so people like Hendrik. Sam noticed him quite fast and tried to make herself look better in her PJs, but Liz stopped her and shook her head. "You'd need an hour to freshen up, hun, don't make it worse." She would love to be mad at her tanned friend, but the hunger kept her away from even forming a clear sentence. Thus, they arrived at the front door. "If this goes south, we're never gonna recover from this...except Liz maybe." Liz smiled innocently as a reply to what Alex said.

Knock knock!
