Oh… What a twisted little puppy this one…

Azula from a young age showed a great proficiency in her fire bending talents. Easily outpacing her brother, this caused her to become the favorite of her father. Much to her mother’s dismay, who in turn began to favor her brother. Much to Azula’s dismay, as she began to slowly over time began to resent both her mother and her brother.

This resentment towards her brother would come in many forms. Some would be cruel pranks, others snide jabs at his pride. However worst of all would come as she grew older. Her father demanded nothing but perfection. So, in turn Azula became a perfectionist obsessed with doing everything perfectly. So much so that if she saw someone do something she could not, she would attack them.

This was the beginning of her cruelty, that only got worse as her cousin Lu ten died in combat. In response she could only mock him in **** along with her uncle calling both weak and her uncle a coward for pulling back from the earth kingdom capital after losing his only son.

This led to her father asking her grandfather to change the heir status so that he would be the heir to the royal throne and not his brother who had no heir now. This enraged her grandfather and in response he ordered that he had to lose something of equal value to him as did Iroh. This of course being his only son and Azula’s brother Zuko. To which Azula who was listening into this entire event could only taunt Zuko about later in private.

However, this did not happen as Ursa seem to have intervened. It is not known whether or not she assassinated her father-in-law, but it is implied that she did something to stay his hand. For during the night of this event, she came to her son and told him to be strong, and to watch out for his sister who she called thought of as a monster at times.

This is what cemented Azula’s hatred of her mother, as she willingly sacrificed herself in an act of love for a person, she considered worthless. From then on Azula hated anything having to do with femininity and tried to become exactly as her father wished. To which she succeeded, she became his weapon, his private little monster.

Oi… Vey… This girl has some severe problems, many of which are psychological.

Azula possesses many abilities over her control of fire, one of these which include advanced form of fire bending which allows her to control and manipulate lightning.

However, she is cruel, cunning, and seeks power above all else. The reason for this is because it’s all she knows how to do and it’s all that brings her happiness as she has denied herself the ability to feel love.

As you contemplate whether or not this is truly a wise idea. You quickly pull up a portal to see what Azula was doing right now and you see that she is meditating in her room.
