“You’re hiding something aren’t you?” You say wanting to question him further. His eyes immediately look away from you. You can tell that he is lying through his teeth. “N-no.” He says nervously. You give him a straight and serious look. “I’m not dropping this until you tell me.” You speak seriously.

There is a brief period where it was dead silent. With you staring at him with a straight face. As he starts feeling the pressure from your stare, he starts to fold. “Fine.” He says letting out a sigh. Tapping your feet, you wait for him to give an answer. You can hear him mumbling “IcantbelieveImdoingthis.” As his face becomes red.

“You promise you won’t make fun of me?” Jeff asks from you.

You give him a nod.

“I think you look pretty hot right now.” He says flustered. “As I know I shouldn’t be saying this to my best friend but god dude. What the fuck, I don’t why you are doing this. But I can’t keep my eyes off you.” He says letting it all out.

Hearing this made your face become red. Honestly, you were expecting him to be disapproving. But instead, it seems like he is gushing over you right now. Before you can say anything more the bell rings.

Jeff sees this as an opportunity, immediately getting up and ditching you. “I'll see you later at lunch Ash!” He says quickly leaving you in your thoughts.
