“Wait, I have to tell Suzy I’m leaving.”

“Are you serious?” Jim asked, “The woman who let you wander around like that? Flashing all your bits to that crowd of people. Then let you walk her to your local store filled with people you’ll obviously know.”

“That was my fault.” I said, “She’s a really nice woman, really.”

Jim didn’t look very convinced, but he didn’t push me further.

We found Suzy telling her daughters off in the toy aisle, she brightened up as she saw us approach, “Ah, Jasmin, you found some clothing after all.” Then upon noticing that Jim was actually with me, “And who is this dashing young fellow at your hip? I’m Suzy, are you the knight in shining armour who gave our hero here you jacket?”

Jim smiled, it was a little ****, but Suzy didn’t seem to notice.

“Yes,” I said, “Jim here was kind enough to lend me his jacket, he even offered to walk me home.”

“That’s wonderful dear,” Suzy said, turning her eyes on Jim, her gaze took on a look that I had seen far too much of from how people had been looking at me when I went about them without clothes, “What a wonderful young man.” Her voice had changed too, “Don’t mind us then dear, we can find our way back now, but before you do, may I have a picture with my hero before you go?”

“Sure.” I said, smiling wide.
