“Would you?” Suzy asked, holding her phone out to Jim.

“Sure.” Jim said, shooting me a look that said everything. *Don’t do anything that isn’t reasonable*

Suzy put her arm around me, I could hear her girls arguing in the next aisle over, I squatted down next to her chair and put my arm around her. I hugged her, the action caused the hoodie to ride up my back, and I could only imagine the sight I was giving Jim behind me.

Suzy leaned in to whisper in my ear, “I hope your actions haven’t put the boy off.”

Jim held my hand as we left the store.

“See, I told you she was a nice woman.” I said to him.

“I guess I was wrong.” Jim replied, “I just don’t know how so many people could see you... like that, without helping.”
