“Viking spear” Magnus

I am slightly surprised that the guy calling me is Magnus. Don’s get me wrong; we had a nice conversation and we got on well, but we are at very different points in life. Well, maybe he just want to congratulate me.

Magnus: “Matt, congratulations, you did a great show”.

Me: ·Thank you”.

Magnus: “I enjoyed our conversation a lot. I do not feel like I can have conversations like that with my friends or family. I would love to keep your contact and have a beer from time to time”.

I am really surprised and kind of happy about it. It’s not easy to make friends and this guy seems nice and interesting.

Me: “That would be nice: Jag skulle älska att ha en ny vän med en stor kuk”

Magnus laughs.

Magnus: “I did not know you spoke Swedish”

Me: “I only know important words or sentences, like the one I just said”.

Magnus: “Yes, stor kuk is probably the most important thing you must learn in swedish". He laughs. "Let’s have that first beer tonight”.

Me: “skål”
