“The Royal Knight.” You say feeling embarrassed. Jeff's eyes light up as he smiles. “So, you can’t help but fall in love with the nice guy?” He says teasing you. This makes you flustered as you explain your choice.

“It just, he was the MC childhood friend. Plus, who can’t help but fall in love with a romantic character? God his line is so cheesy sometimes. For example, he once says “I will be forever by your side.” It’s like ugh. Who can’t fall in love with a character like that.” You say completely geeking out.

You realize that you are saying too much. So, your face becomes red as you become silent. Jeff hears this and can’t help but say something cheesy. “So, someone like me?” He says as he straightens his collar and puts on a serious look. “I will protect your heart princess.” He says in a fake deep voice and gives you a wink.

You know this was posed to be a joke. But instead of laughing along with him like usual. You can’t help but become flustered. Jeff on the other hand starts to blush too. As he realizes that you aren’t laughing at his joke.

“I-Whoa didn’t expect that response from you.” He says while blushing.

He was a bit taken aback, same with you. You both sit there in silence blushing together. You see Jeff was about to say something but the bell rings interrupting him. Shaking his head, he smiles at you. “Well, I'll see you at lunch Ash.” He says while getting up and heading towards the door. You do the same.
