“That was a very bad idea.”

Everything felt so surreal as Nikki was lead back onstage. A hush fell over the riotous crowd as the naked girl reappeared. “I didn’t think so!” Dr. Marlowe continued on taking the terrified look on Nikki’s face for an answer, “Now what if I told you there was a different way! One where by this time tomorrow all of this would be behind you! That you would be spared expulsion and criminal proceedings and that the shame brought on by your punishment would be all that was required to keep you out of trouble the rest of your time at this University?”

It didn’t sound like a question, but Nikki knew that Dr. Marlowe expected her to answer. Slowly with all of the eyes in the room now on her Nikki nodded her head.

Chaos again reigned. Dr. Marlowe sat down with a satisfied grin on her face as the Board moved to vote on the proposal. The auditorium was up in arms. She could see that there was a clear group of supporters for the new Code of Conduct that were cheering the Professor’s speech.

Thru the shouting the Board continued with their proceedings and the vote.

“All in favor?!” The old man at the center of the table asked. He raised his hand. So did 5 others.

“All opposed?!” He shouted as the din in the room died down. The remaining four people at the table raised their hands.

“And Mr. McGraw, who is um… No longer present must abstain. The motion carries by majority vote. Effective immediately the new Judiciary Code of Conduct is in effect.”

Another round of chaos broke out. The supporters in the crowd cheered while the small group at the front booed and yelled for the attention of the Board who had all stood and begun to pack up their items.

Nikki felt the officer next to her grip her upper arm. She felt herself pulled forward.

“Where are we going?” Nikki asked.

“You heard the Board. You’re being charged under the new Judiciary Code.” Nikki was about to ask exactly what he meant when four other people jumped up onstage.

“This is outrageous!” It was the girl who had asked questions earlier. She had flaming red hair and was tall. It might have just been the hair color but Nikki thought she had a similar look as Dr. Marlowe.

Next to her stood two other girls. One was blonde and preppy the other was a Filipino girl that Nikki recognized from another sorority on campus. The last member of the group was a very fit looking guy with shaggy dark hair.

“You are out of line!” Dr. Marlowe stood up and for the first time Nikki saw anger in her eyes.

“I’m out of line?!? You all just voted to strip students of their dignity and humiliate them for public enjoyment!” The redhead argued.

“This measure is for the good of the campus community!” Marlowe shot back.

Nikki still stood naked and confused. The officer still had a grip on her arm but had loosened slightly so he could position himself between the group and the Board.

“When the process you make sure they don’t scrub that pretty little ass of yours too good. Want to make sure your future sisters see our mark.” He whispered in her ear as the cop resumed his grip on her arm and hauled her forward.

“Now just where did you think you were going?” The officer asked dragging her down the hallway. “Running from the cops? That’s gonna be another charge I’m afraid.”

Nikki didn’t respond. Ahead of her in the hall she saw the two the two other officers pulling the other protesters out into the hall. Like her all four were completely naked with their hands cuffed behind them. They were pushed up against the wall. Nikki soon joined them being pressed right next to the redhead.

“Protesting and exposing yourselves the night the new Judicial Code was implemented?” One of the officers laughed behind them.

“That was a very bad idea.”
