“Surrender now while you still can” (new choices, added late 2020)

You get up from the bench you’re sitting on.

“However.. it strikes me this isn’t really a fair playing field. You’ve got your fancy, expensive sword and armor and I’ve just got these beat up leathers. How about a parlay?”

The knight snorts derisively. “Your mistake for picking a fight with me then.” She starts approaching, armor clanking in emphasis with each step. “It’ll be your mistake soon enough” you think to yourself.

The knight twirls her sword and plants her boots in a stance a short distance away from you. She still looks angry at your thieving, but you see she’s actively straining herself to not simply start hacking at you. “It’s off to the stocks with you one way or another, but it’s up to you wether this needs to get ugly. I suggest you surrender with dignity while you can.”

“Surrender with dignity while you can... Funny, I was about to say the same thing to you!” You reply. “So... Do you surrender with dignity?”

The woman clenches her teeth in an angered expression, and she’s about to continue walking your way. “Me, surrendering?! Of course not you damn- Have it your way then!” And indeed you will.
