“Sure!”

“Sure!” Liz exclaimed. “It’s getting kinda cramped being in this one area.” With that, the two started walking out to the forest. Along the way, numerous thoughts entered Mia’s head.

“How are we linked? Why are we linked?” she thought to herself. Trying to ease her mind failed, meaning she had to continue thinking on these topics she didn’t want to dwell on her, for her own sanity. Suddenly, Liz broke the silence and asked Mia a question.

“So how long have you been like this, exactly?” Liz asked. Mia was snapped out of her cycle of never ending questions and thoughts. “Oh, uh, I’ve been like this for about a day or two,” she replied, somewhat flustered. “I changed just recently,” Liz replied, “Kinda just... happened out of nowhere, you know?”

Mia nodded in reply. “I know how it is, Liz. But I’m just glad I’m not the only one.” Liz grinned. “You and me both sister. Would be a lot more lonely if that was the case.”

After a while, Mia finally found the place where she had wanted to visit. “We’re here,” Mia said. Liz was puzzled at first, but Mia knew why she had wanted to come. The area Mia had arrived to was where Mia had performed a ritual that would make herself and other person a lioness. Thinking back on it now, she thought to herself, “Maybe that’s where the link comes from.”

“So, what is this place exactly?” Liz asked. Mia became nervous. She could either tell the truth, or lie. What does she do?
