“Jason mistook me for a girl.”

“Jason mistook me for a girl.” You say mumbling not wanting to admit this yourself. Your sister's eyes went wide with a smile. Her eyes dart across the hallway and look at Jason. The bully from the football team, then looks back at you. The victim, the person that Jason hates the most in the school. She then bursts out laughing.

“Holy shit, does he know?” She asked looking at you with amusement. You shake your head no and explain what happened to her. “At the time I couldn’t handle it… It just, there were so many things happening at the same time. So, I ran away…” You say explaining to your sister.

“This is going to be hilarious when he realizes who you are.” She speaks. Then she looks at you with a devious smile. “I might just tell him right now actually.” She says devilishly. You know what your sister's trying to do. She's trying to emotionally **** you, into doing something.

You let out a sigh and look at her. “What is it?” You say, just wanting to get it over with. But something seems a bit different about Rachel. She was blushing? You were surprised yourself when her face became red. You see her biting her lips thinking about something. She then let out a sigh and looks at you seriously. “Can I have a hug from you?” She quietly says.

At first you thought this was one of her pranks, you were waiting for a punchline to happen. Second, your head went in a completely different direction. You thought she was going to make you do something for her. But instead, she asked for a hug?

You see her arms go open and she waits for you to hug her. So, you did, you went and hugged your sister. It has been a while since you have done this with your sister. To the point where the only time you hugged your sister was in elementary.

“You know I’m joshing with you right? Look I really do care about you. Like a lot actually…:” she says trailing off a bit. “But enough about me. I really do love you, Ash. Even if I don’t show it…” She says as she kisses your cheek.

You both then back off from one another. “Why the hug?” You asked confused. Your sister nervously scratches her neck. “I… Just wanted a hug. Yeah! Uh, see you later loser.” She says quickly. She then quickly heads towards the cafeteria.

You stood there confused still wondering why she wanted a hug. Then it hit you like a truck, your sister just kissed you on your cheek. She also told you that she loves you. Your face becomes red. You immediately become flustered; obviously, she just meant it as a sister… Right? You don’t want to go into that territory, so you quickly walk to your lunch table.
