“I d-don’t know”

“I d-don’t know.’ You let out as you feel conflicted. You feel like today is just one big mixed message. Your brain feels scattered and blended. You try not to think about it. But your consciousness likes to bring it back up. Those weird effeminate thoughts of yours throughout the day.

Jeff, seeing you conflicted lets out a sigh. You see him give a heartfelt smile. “Well, I think you look lovely.” He says very straightforward. Hearing his compliment made your brain fry. You wanted to protest being called cute. But instead, your face just becomes slowly red.

“T-thank you…” You say very quietly. Jeff's eyes go wide hearing your response, making him slowly blush too.

“Well, I- Uh didn’t expect that response from you.” He says honestly. “You're usually Witty…What did you do to the true Ash? Who are you?” He says jokingly. You let out a chuckle hearing his comment. But then you hear him whisper to himself. “Cute…” Hearing him say that made your eyes go wide.

“Say that again.” You say wanting to hear him again. “N-Nothing” Jeff says coughing to himself. Before you can interrogate him further the bell rings. “Well see you at lunch Ash!” Jeff says quickly as he left.
