“I’m on her route right now.” You say as you decide to stay with your pick. Jeff chuckles as he looks at you. “I didn’t know you were into goth girls.” He says teasing you. You give out a pout. “Goth girls are cute.” You say defending your pick.

“Ha tell that to Donna. She'll most likely punch your face.” He says laughing. “Shut up...” You say mumbling. As your face becomes embarrassed. He pats your head as he gives out a heartfelt smile. “Don’t be too upset. At least you didn’t get the nice guy ending as I did.” He says with sympathy.

You swipe his hand off your head. “It's because you are being too nice to the girls. They want someone who isn’t boring. For example, you.” You say mocking him. He punches your shoulder hard, but it was weak. “You are lucky that you’re cute right now…” He says quietly.

Hearing his remark makes you choke on your words. “I- Whoa what?” You say shocked. His eyes go wide as he realizes that you heard what he said. “Nothing!” He says as he looks away embarrassed.

Before you can interrogate him further the bell rings. “Well see you at lunch!” Jeff says quickly as he left.
